Avaya has support policies in place for all software and hardware that they provide. These policies affect the ability to purchase end user licenses, upgrades, and manufacturer support availability. As part of the program they have several terms that are important to be familiar with.
“End of Sale”, defined as “the last date that a product is commercially available to the general public from Avaya. Generally this date is established by prior notice via Avaya’s public web site, or other means deemed appropriate by Avaya”. Manufacturer Support will be available for Hardware products for a minimum of three (3) years following the End of Sale Date for the product.
“End of Support Date” means the date on which Avaya will no longer provide Manufacturer Support for the product. This affects a customers ability to purchase end user licensing, and receive technical support from Avaya.
Customers are able to sign up for automatic product notifications from Avaya. This helps customers to stay informed of changes regarding products that they have purchased. To sign up for Avaya's product notification service, go to the Avaya Support page, and select "My e_notifications".
