This feature-rich, easy-to-use softphone provides every user with integrated voice, video, IM and presence features. Alternatively, users can choose an application plug-in that lets them make and receive calls from Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Sametime/Lotus Notes.

Avaya 1200 IP Deskphone Series
The Software Communication System supports the Avaya 1200 IP Deskphone Series, which has multiple soft keys, an integrated speakerphone, advanced audio-quality, headset support, and an integrated Ethernet switch. Industry leading phones from the Polycom SoundPoint and SoundStation portfolios are also supported.

The Software Communication System runs on several core hardware platforms from industry leaders, including Avaya Secure Router 4134 Server Module with Software Communication System, Dell Optiplex & PowerEdge R300, IBMx3350, HP ProLiant DL360, and AudioCodes BusinessPLUS with Software Communication System.

Connect analog devices like fax machines or digital trunks using industry standard SIP gateways such as Avaya Secure Router 2330 with SIP Gateway or Audiocodes. The Software Communication System also supports Avaya and industry standard routers and Ethernet switches.
