Speakerphones

Avaya offers analog, digital and IP-based full duplex speakerphones for large and small conference rooms. Full duplex technology means simultaneous two-way transmission. There is no changeover from incoming to outgoing, thereby eliminating the clipping and hollow sounds associated with conventional half-duplex speakerphones. Avaya Speakerphones are ideal for day-to-day group collaboration in ad hoc meeting rooms, breakout rooms, and small to medium conference rooms. Full-time 360-degree coverage assures that everyone in the room can be heard.

Although operation is made easier using an Avaya 2400 or 6400 series terminal, no terminal is needed as the 2490 Conference Phone has a dial pad and plugs directly into a DCP wall jack.

With industry-leading full duplex for natural, simultaneous two-way conversation, the Avaya 2490 Conference Phone will exceed customer expectations in medium to small conference rooms. Delivering remarkable voice quality and increased microphone sensitivity, users can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly up to 10 feet away – making every speakerphone conference call, a more productive call. With the addition of the optional microphones, the Avaya 2490 Conference Phone expands room coverage to large conference room environments. Overall features include:

  • Large, backlit display for calling information and telephony functions
  • Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) provides maximum microphone sensitivity
  • Improved reduction of background noise
